Especially at the winter time, our target fish requires a bait which is
valuable and light. As soon as the water temperature begins to sink, the
carp limits considerably absorption of nutrients. Only a tiny small mistake
in bait production can already decide on success or failure. As a great
mistake we especially consider that many people use the identical baits
that brought success in summer, according to the motto, it can not be wrong
in the winter what is good in the summer. Nevertheless this opinion is only
in a conditional manner correct. Nevertheless you should increase the protein
content already in autumn so that the fish become accustomed to this bait
in time. With falling water temperatures, the metabolism of all fish slows
down. The carp eat less considerably. Is the offered boilie valuably (e.g.
high protein content), the carps will still eat it. Is the bait heavy digestible,
it is then only determined or not eaten at all no more. We used this knowledge
and developed our 80/20 mix. The 80/20 mix shows its advantages in a higher
protein content and especially through light ingredients that are optimized
by a specific procedure. For this reason, 95% of our test anglers use our
80/20 mix at cold water temperatures or in waters with cold springs. And
success give them right. Of course you can also catch fish easily with our
60/40 Mix in the winter however I in person come in no risk and always use
our 80/20 mix as soon as the water temperature falls under 14 degrees Celsius.
I even go that far that I also use the 80/20 Mix at summer time if the water
requires it. There are enough waters in Germany and the Netherlands, that
offer a great natural food potential e.g. shells, snails, cancers, that
one can make the carps eat only with an extremely high-quality bait. Every
channel and every flow has an inconceivable potential for example of Reikantsnails.
If we now feed at a shell bank, and fish, (that makes, because early or
late the carps come at food look-up), it is then advisable that your bait
is so attractive, that it is accepted by the carps without long acclimatization.
At least you should use the 80/20 mix for the production of your hook baits!
Only KB CARP HUNTER mixes contain our so-called AGGK's (amino acid, smell
and taste components). They consist of high-quality amino acid combinations
which extend themselves constantly in the water and call the carps attention
onto our baits over great distance. Parts of the AGGK's spread in the water
immediately! This effect guarantees a fast bite result. The other part of
the AGGK's is anchored in the bait for a long time. Because of that our
baits scatter a tempting fragrance lane for 50 hours. And this we should
be aware of: if no carps are there, we can´t fish them. If normal
baits are exhausted or fallen apart, (regard report boilie cement), then
KB CARP HUNTER Boilies start working! Financial aspects also have of course
a role to play. We from KB CARP HUNTER also supply many adolescents, who
are interested in specimen carp hunting with boilie mixes. Also this adolescent
recognized that a good bait is an absolute necessity to have success on
many more than fished waters. However, they do not have as much money available.
I always advice them to buy a greater crowd with their friends together
because that already reduces the costs enormously. I always recommend as
a second tip to mix their cheap mixes with our mixes e.g. 50/50. That already
halves the costs to 50%, however, has the advantage that our AGGK's and
attracting substances are still. The amount is indeed reduced but still
better as nothing at all. Still, the hook bait as 80/20 Mix and everything
will go well!
